For a young man, Cameron has an old, wise, and soulful feel. He’s only been at it for a decade, working rooms from Chicago to Vegas. We’re lucky that Cam currently calls Milwaukee home, so for the time being, we get to witness his powerful and awe-inspiring voice and presence, as he hones those keyboard licks and left-hand bass lines. Cam is joined on these nights by the mind-bending bluesy sleeper-cell, Matt Schad, tearin’ it down on guitar, and the incredible, understated weaver of groove tapestries, Christian Fox, on drums.

We’re thrilled to welcome Trumpet maestro Russ Johnson to the Transfer Stage. Russ played a roll in the NYC avant-jazz scene for decades before relocating to SE Wisconsin to teach at UW Parkside. Russ’s groups play regularly in NYC, Chicago and abroad. Tonight, we’re proud to present him from the Transfer stage. Glenn McCormick, seen for years performing everything from rock to hip hop on trumpet and keys, has dedicated himself to Bossa Nova.
