George Braith — one of the last standing disciples of Bop; a Blue Note recording artist from his early 20s; mad harmonic scientist who developed the Braithophone, a double mouthpieced, Siamese mating of saxes with conjoined bells; who has been gracing the Transfer stage since 2008 — is back. George will be joined by long-time collaborator, Reggie Bordeaux, on percussion, along with John Babbitt on double bass and Jerry Weitzer on piano. This is an inside performance, reservations are encouraged. 6:30p start.
Martini Jazz Lounge, every Thursday, 6:30 to close. No cover. Martinis and Cosmos, $8.
