Neal Chandek, who led the Transfer house band for 12 years until the pandemic, always blew up the last Tuesday in June, the closest Tuesday to his birthday. Although every Tuesday featured spontaneous sit-in musicians and guest singers, Neal’s birthday bash was always a lively full-on jam session. We are resolved to keep this tradition going. Tonight we’re going to honor and celebrate Neal’s accomplishments by being a product of his earthly efforts. We’re going to gather and keep the music going!
This jam will happen outside, weather permitting, and will be anchored by a core trio consisting of Dan Schneck on organ, Paul Silbergleit on guitar, and former Transfer House Band drummer Omar on drums.
